Last year we lost Winnie and Mille due to kidney failure - Winnie at 16 and Millie at 13. Though I thought losing my Millie at 13 was too young I was taken aback by the 10 days we had with Ellie. Elfriede was a wonderful pup and we still can't figure out how she got so ill so quickly. She seemed fine when I fed her at 6:15p but by 11:00p she was gone. God rest, little one!
