The objective of this assignment is thus.
- use sigmund~ or fiddle~ in collaboration with score following (remember, from the Max course (MUC 4401/6444), change live processing through the triggering of qlist (now available on the PC platform).
- if available, use bonk~ to identify "small" percussion instruments and, perhaps in collaboration with thresh~, change live processing (with or without qlist).
- The paper Real-time audio analysis tools for Pd and MSP by Puckette, Apel and Zicarelli should also be of interest [click here]
1) To develop a patcher that will track either the activity of a live acoustic source through the use of sigmund~ (pitch), fiddle~ (pitch) and/or bonk~ (amplitude). Both of these objects are non-standard objects.
